MY NAME IS YVETTE RENEE TERRY, and I am the creator of Divine Design Professional Resume Writing and Career Center, a service that offers beautifully designed and results-driven resumes, cover letters. LinkedIn Profiles and career biographies.  Divine Design was established in 2002 to help people strategically align their unique talent, expertise, value, and career aspirations to jobs they wanted to pursue.  I agree with Maya Angelou who once said, "everyone has talent."  My love for career writing and design, as well as success in developing marketing materials that produced steady employment, were the driving force in creating Divine Design Professional Resume Writing & Career Center. 

I had a vision to create a resume writing service when I was in my 20's.  I easily fell in love with the creative process of writing and designing documents that invoked excitement, imagination, and possibilities. The vision offered the opportunity to enhance my life as well as contribute to others.  The quote below by Helen Keller resonates with my belief system regarding vision:

Drawing upon my 10+ years' administrative experience supporting C-level executives in non-profit, for-profit and academia as well as my roles in leadership and customer service, I direct my writing and design skills to help professionals reveal their measurable impact by unloading their career accomplishments, brand message, and what they want to do next.  As one executive client said, "The marketing materials I have received from DivineDesign has made my life and my career 100% productive and on target."   In addition to marketing materials, I offer online course training and workshops to career professionals that boost their skills, confidence, and knowledge.

In 2015 DivineDesign Professional Writing and Career Center featured in Women of Distinction Magazine a national publication of professional women across the U.S., which was a big deal for me!  This experience gave me exposure to new clients and helped my service grow to higher levels, so that, I was invited as a guest speaker on a local Boston radio station where I discussed career development and shared resume tips and answered questions from community residents.  

I am a certified television producer at Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN) where I hosted the show, “Professional Development: It Begins With You.”  The show featured local entrepreneurs and business leaders and served to connect the community with career opportunities, resources, and information related to marketing materials and interviews. 

I am a proud alumna of the University of Massachusetts Boston where I received a master's degree in Instructional Design.  I am an Associate at Career Thought Leaders, a career management organization, and a member of Career Directors International.  I look forward to getting to know you as you embark on your professional journey and wish you all the best in your future adventures!
